The oats
50g Mornflake Jumbo Scottish Oats
2 tbsp pumpkin puree
3/4 tsp pumpkin spice
250ml of choice
240ml of water
2 tbsp sugar/sweetener
Pinch of salt
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
The toppings
Nut butter
Roasted pecans
Cacao nibs
Maple syrup
Optional: Yoghurt
In a medium saucepan, add all the ingredients for your oats, leaving over medium heat for a couple of minutes until bubbling.
Reduce the heat to low, covering with a lid then leave the oats to thicken for 10-15 minutes.
Once the oats have thickened to your liking, add to a bowl, topping with your toppings of choice.
You can save any for the day after too – just store in an airtight container for up to 4 days.
