2 tbsp peanut butter

4 heaped tbsp of oat flour (Mornflake Superfast Oats blended)

Optional: 1 tsp honey/ sugar

Pinch of salt

Tiny splash of water

Method

  • Preheat your oven to 180°C.
  • In a bowl, add your peanut butter, Mornflake Superfast Oats oat flour & a pinch of salt.
  • Stir together well with the back of a spoon, then once it’s started to form a breadcrumb texture, add a tiny splash of water, and honey, if you’d like.
  • Continue to mix with the back of a spoon, then once you have a crumbly dough, line a small, or narrow baking tray – if you don’t have a small baking tray, you can make these in two bowls/ramekins.
  • Press your dough down into your lined baking tray, pressing into a rectangle or square until it is about 1/2cm thick – the same applies if you’re using a bowl or ramekin. Just add 1/2 the mixture to the bowl and press down until it’s around 1/2cm thick.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes, until it begins to go golden brown & it crisps up.
  • Remove from the oven, leave to cool for a few minutes, then slice in half whilst still warm, so it doesn’t break.
  • Serve warm or cold with toppings of choice – we use yoghurt, fruit, nut butter, nuts and seeds & honey.
