Chocolate and mint, it’s a match made in heaven. Using dates, cacao, coconut and oats makes these bites not only healthier but more filling, just what you need to combat the 4pm crash.

60g Mornflake Oatbran
25g cacao powder
50g desiccated coconut
7 fresh mint leaves
30g coconut oil
Line a 21cm x 16cm baking tin or Tupperware box with baking paper.
Put the dates in a food processor and blitz for a couple of minutes until they are broken up but not completely smooth. Add the rest of the ingredients and continue to blitz until combined.
Spoon the mixture into your lined tin and press down firmly so it’s roughly 2cm deep and the surface is smooth and level.
Leave to set in the fridge for 1 hour before slicing into bite-sized squares.
Store in an airtight container in the fridge and eat within 1 week.
