Exhausted but overjoyed, more than 1000 people made it past the finish line of the Mornflake-sponsored Cheshire Triathlon.
Crowds of spectators welcomed entrants back to Barony Park in Nantwich after a challenge taking in an outdoor swim, country cycle ride and track run.
There were classes for every fitness level but all began by taking the plunge in Nantwich's unique brine pool.
Sprinters took on a 500m swim, followed by a 20km cycle ride and 5km run in the park. Classes also included Super Sprint and Fun with each having 200m swim, 20km cycle and 2.5km run.
Making her debut was Mornflake's Catherine Sadler "The triathlon was great fun and had such a wonderful atmosphere, I'm looking forward to completing the next one!"
Now it's ready, steady, go for another major challenge backed by Mornflake.
Monster Mash Sportive is a cycle race from Cheshire to North Wales on June 28.
