Oat Made Egg Fried ‘Rice’

We’ve scrambled around to create this eggs-traordinary Egg Fried Rice recipe, except we’ve switched out the rice for Oat Made.

Ingredients

1 tbsp sesame oil

40g peas

1/2 carrot, diced

1 Oat Made pouch

2 tbsp soy sauce

2 tbsp kicap manis

1 egg

 

TO SERVE

Spring onions

Sriracha

Kewpie mayo

Sesame seeds

Method

  • Add your sesame oil to a frying pan on medium heat – whilst the oil heats, prep your carrots.
  • Add your diced carrot to the oil and allow to fry until golden brown on the outsides, and slightly softer, then add your peas.
  • Add your Oat Made pouch, then add a splash of water to the pan and cover with a lid for a minute – this will make your Oat Made fluffy.
  • Remove the lid from the pan, then add your soy sauce and kicap manis, stirring well.
  • Push all the Oat Made to one side of the pan, cracking an egg into the free side, stirring continuously until it starts to resemble scrambled egg
  • When the egg has firmed up, stir it through with the Oat Made mixture, then remove from the heat.
  • Plate up into 2 separate bowls & top with whatever you’d like – we used chopped spring onions, kewpie mayonnaise and sesame seeds.
