Cranberry & Orange Oaty Bliss Balls

For a healthier festive treat, try these Christmas bliss balls flavoured with orange zest and cranberries and packed with oats and ground almonds.  Make a batch or two ahead to have ready when family and friends visit.

Ingredients

130g medjool dates
100g Mornflake Gluten Free Oats
100g ground almonds
Zest of ½ orange
90g cranberries
40g desiccated coconut
70g almond butter

Shop the ingredients

Method

Add the dates to the food processor and blitz until they form a smooth paste.  Then tip in the oats, ground almonds, cranberries, desiccated coconut, orange zest and almond butter.  Blend all the ingredients until they are completely combined. The mix should hold together when you press it together between your fingers.

Using your hands form the mixture into approximately 14 x 30g bliss balls.

Store in the fridge and eat within 5 days.
