Bircher layer

100g Mornflake Gluten-Free Superfast Oats

1 banana, mashed

2 tbsp. of cacao powder

1 tsp. vanilla extract

250ml nut milk

Caramel Chia Pudding layer

80g chia seeds

260ml nut milk

3 tbsps. Grade A Maple syrup (to taste)

To serve

1 banana, sliced

3-4 dessertspoons of Coconut yoghurt

Cacao nibs

Chocolate drizzle


Oat layer

  • Weigh out the oats into a large jar or bowl; add the nut milk, mashed banana, cacao powder and vanilla extract.
  • Give everything a good stir until thoroughly combined. Cover and place in the fridge overnight

Chia pudding layer

  • Add the chia seeds to a jam jar, add the milk and maple syrup and stir together well. Seal and place in the fridge overnight.
  • In the morning, remove the bircher and caramel chia pudding from the fridge. Choose a medium sized glass or jar and spoon in the banana and chocolate bircher, add the caramel chia layer and top with a couple of spoonful’s of coconut yoghurt and decorate with cacao nibs, sliced bananas and chocolate drizzle.
