Method
Grease a shallow 17cm (7”) square tin. Chop the walnuts. Melt the margarine, honey and syrup until blended, do not boil. Stir in the sugar and oats. Spread evenly in the tin. Sprinkle with the walnuts and press in lightly. Bake at 160°C/350°F/gas 4, for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and bubbling. Allow to cool for a few minutes then cut into triangles. Remove from tin when cold.
