    Preheat the oven to 180C/350F/Gas 4.

    Put the flour, oats, sugar and the oats into a bowl, add the melted butter and mix well until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs.

    Arrange the fruit into a 24cm oven proof dish, or individual dishes, then sprinkle the remaining sugar over.  Top with the crumble.

    Bake in the oven for 35 - 40 minutes until the crumble has browned and the fruit is bubbling.

    Serve with custard or cream. 

    Cook's Tip: The crumble mixture freezes well, and can be used from frozen. Make a double batch or freeze any spare.
