Ingredients

 

175g (6 oz) butter or margarine

50g (2 oz) caster sugar

50g (2 oz) soft brown sugar

90ml (6 tbsps) golden syrup

A pinch of salt

275g (10 oz) Mornflake oats

Method

Mix the butter or margarine and sugars and cook on high for 1 minute. Stir in the syrup until warmed through and desolved. Stir in the salt and oats and mix thoroughly. Press into a greased 18cm / 7 in microwave dish and cook on High for 5 minutes. Leave to cool slightly, then cut into squares.
