Wash, core, peel and finely slice the Bramley apples.
Into a deep saucepan place the lemon juice, vanilla and sugar.
Add enough cold water to fully cover the base of the saucepan and then place over a medium heat.
Once the sugar has dissolved add the apple slices and stir thoroughly.
Keep stirring the apple regularly for about 15 mins, or until the apple has cooked down into a puree.
Remove the saucepan from the heat and set aside.
Then in another saucepan place the oats, water and milk.
Put the saucepan over a high heat and cook for 2 mins.
Reduce the heat and cook the oats for a further 2-3 mins or until you have a nice creamy Porridge.
Pour the Porridge into two bowls.
Finally sieve the apple, spoon over the Porridge and drizzle with a little single cream.
