Spamella's easy Caramelised Apple, Cinnamon & Vanilla Protein Overnight Oats are full of flavour with an added protein hit. Simply put the ingredients together at night and by morning you'll have a super satisfying breakfast!

    The night before, place the oats, chia seeds, protein powder and spices in a kilner jar and mix together.

    Using the two sachets of oats, use to measure the almond milk - pour 2 x lots in (as required for the oats) plus a further 2 tablespoons. Stir into the oats along with the vanilla extract and agave or date syrup. Leave to chill overnight.

    In the morning, place the apple chunks in a pan with the agave/syrup and cinnamon. Cook for about 10 minutes until the apples have softened, stirring constantly.

    Stir in the flaked almonds and continue cooking for a further few minutes, to coat in the syrup and spice. Remove from the heat.

    Divide the overnight oats between two bowls (add a little extra milk if too thick), then top with the apples and almonds while still warm. Enjoy!

    Note: If you don’t eat the second portion, keep the oats and leftover caramelised apples in the fridge - it’s just as tasty the next day, all chilled!
