Chocolate Macaroons

 

Ingredients

 

4 mackerel, filleted, skinned and cut into lengthway slices

6 tbsp Mornflake Oatbran
2 tbsp garam masala
1 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp ground coriander
Half tsp chilli powder
Half tsp ground turmeric
Salt and pepper
3 tbsp sunflower oil

Method
1 – In a mixing bowl, mix together the Mornflake Oatbran and spices together with a little
seasoning.
2 - Put the mackerel pieces into the mixing bowl and coat with the oat bran and spice mixture.
3 – Heat up the sunflower oil in a non-stick frying pan. Add the fish in batches and cook for
2-3 minutes each side until golden brown. Drain on kitchen paper.
4 – Serve with yoghurt, cucumber and mint and a simple tomato and onion salad.
