* This product typically contains approximately 100 ppm gluten (i.e. 100 mg of gluten per kilogramme of product). Oats also contain Avenin – this is a protein that is like gluten. Research shows that most people with coeliac disease can tolerate Avenin – a very small number of people with coeliac disease however are sensitive to oats and need to avoid them. We know that many consumers with coeliac disease enjoy Mornflake oat products on a daily basis – if, however, you are concerned Coeliac UK have some useful information on notes here, or please speak to your healthcare team.

To prepare a deliciously creamy porridge:

Pour 180ml milk into a saucepan and bring to the boil. Stir in the oats of one sachet and return to the boil. Simmer for 2 minutes, stiring occasionally, or until all the milk has been soaked up. Easy!

 

To prepare in microwave oven:

Mix the oats of one sachet and 180ml of milk in a non-metallic bowl and cook on full power* 2 minutes. Give them a stir and pop back in for another minute. Stir again and leave to stand for 1 minute. Now tuck in!

 

* Based on 800W microwave oven, so if yours is different please adjust time accordingly.

Serving Suggestion:

Make them extra special with a dash of runny honey or sprinkle with seasonal berries or fruit – delicious!
