That was the verdict following another crowd-pulling Nantwich Food and Drink Festival.
As the event's main sponsor Mornflake was thrilled to see this historic Cheshire town filled with food-lovers from across the country.
An estimated 30,000 people flocked to Nantwich for a celebration of all things food and we were delighted to welcome huge crowds to the Mornflake Food Hall filled with delicacies from across the globe as well as our iconic Cheshire-milled breakfast products.
Festival chairman Deborah Robb said:
"As main sponsor, Mornflake helps makes this event happen every September giving a welcome boost to the local economy at a time when things generally quieten down for tourism. The feed-back from town traders and visitors was fantastic."
Shops across Nantwich staged tastings and workshops for visitors to try their hand at all manner of activities including pizza-making, cake decorating and cocktail shaking.
A seated food theatre on the town square saw top chefs demonstrate their signature dishes. Representing Mornflake was Cleo Sadler who showed to make oaty bread and bircher muesli.
