Mornflake has teamed up with a top local hotel to ensure guests check in to a hearty and wholesome start to the day.
The Best Western Manor House Hotel in Alsager is serving up our locally milled oats after we forged links during National Better Breakfast Week.
Hotel general manager Jayne Chapman said:
"It's very important to us to offer our guests a healthy breakfast option and porridge is of course one of the best you can get. We had been sourcing our oats via a wholesaler but with a major supplier on our doorstep it made sense to keep things local. We have many guests who visit us from abroad and they love their porridge. It all adds to the Cheshire experience."
Mornflake mueslis and other breakfast products are now on the menu at the hotel which serves more than 16,000 breakfasts each year.
Marketing spokeswoman Catherine Sadler said:
"As a company, we are all about getting people to eat a good breakfast. It kick starts the metabolism, supports weight management and helps brain function and concentration. Teaming up with Best Western is a very good pairing. Hotel guests get to enjoy our products and carry the message of a quintessentially British start to the day."
The hotel, a converted farmhouse, and family milling business have a similar provenance, both dating back to the 17th century.
