FAQs

We love hearing from you and have put together a list of the questions we are most frequently asked. If you can't find the answer you're looking for, then please get in touch via the contact us page.

Keeping Up To Date

From time to time we make improvements to our recipes, which may result in changes to the ingredients list and/or allergy advice from that stated on this site. We always update our packaging to ensure it is accurate and aim to keep this website updated with the latest information about our products. However, for this reason we are unable to accept liability for any incorrect information that may have inadvertently been displayed on this website. If you have any special dietary needs, we advise you to read the label on the pack carefully, and get in touch with us if you have any further questions.

Where Can I Buy Your Products?

We endeavour to get our fantastic cereals into as many of your local stores as possible. If your retailer does not currently stock Mornflake cereals, please ask them to do so! In the meantime, all our products are available through our website or by mail order at the address on the 'contact us' page.

What Is The Link Between Oats And Cholesterol?

Oats are one of mother nature's ways to reduce cholesterol. That said, to experience the benefits you'll also need to ensure that the rest of your diet is low in saturated fat and that you enjoy a healthy lifestyle.

Oats contain soluble fibre, which can reduce your low-density lipoprotein (LDL), the "bad" cholesterol. Soluble fibre appears to do this by reducing the absorption of cholesterol in your intestines.

What Are Wholegrain Cereals?

Wholegrain foods are made from the entire grain rather than just one part of it. Over the centuries, we have developed our milling techniques to ensure that the entire grain is optimally milled to produce the very best wholegrain cereals. Research shows that people with healthy hearts tend to eat more wholegrain foods, so our oats can provide the perfect choice for a healthy lifestyle.

Do Oats Contain Gluten?

Unfortunately, there is no short answer to this question! As such, we've put information on the gluten content of our products within the 'allergy advice' section of each product page. Please select the product you are interested in through the 'products' button at the top of the page.

How Are Mornflake Organic Cereals Certified?

All Mornflake Organic products are certified by the Organic Food Federation, one of the UK's leading Organic certification bodies. As such, all our Organic products meet stringent Organic regulations covering all aspects of production; from the farm, to the mill, to your grocer. Further information on the applicable certification standards can be found on the OFF website: www.orgfoodfed.com/index.html
